Job summary

Auto Skills UK is recruiting a experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy, modern workshop in North Norfolk. You will diagnose, service and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, a full UK driving licence, and strong fault-finding ability. A Monday–Friday schedule with a supportive team awaits in a well-equipped dealership environment.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • MOT Tester licence desirable
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Work efficiently to complete tasks on time
  • Identify worn or defective components and report findings
  • Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately
  • Collaborate with the workshop team to deliver quality workmanship
  • Aim for first-time fix on every vehicle

Location: North Norfolk

Salary: Up to £34,000 DoE OTE £40,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to manufacturer standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs efficiently
  • Completing work in line with manufacturer standards
  • Identifying worn or defective components and reporting findings
  • Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately
  • Working collaboratively with the workshop team
  • Delivering a "fix it right first time" approach to every vehicle
About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • MOT Tester Licence desirable
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team
