Job summary

Auto Skills UK in Hatfield is seeking a Vehicle Technician to service and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. You will work with modern diagnostic equipment and participate in warranty work as required, contributing to a fast-paced workshop environment.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, strong diagnostic skills, and a full UK driving licence.

• Able to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Completing vehicle health checks.
• Using the latest manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
• Completing warranty work in line with manufacturer standards.
• Road testing vehicles where required.
• Maintaining accurate workshop documentation.
• Working efficiently whilst maintaining the highest quality standards.

Basic Salary: Up to £35,000

OTE: Up to £45,000

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards whilst delivering exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.

About You

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Service Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Passion for delivering high-quality workmanship
• Able to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Main dealer experience beneficial but not essential
