Job summary

Rygor Group seeks an experienced Van Technician for our Heathrow dealership to keep customer vehicles on the road through quality maintenance and diagnostics. You will perform major and minor repairs on light goods vehicles, conduct inspections and preventive maintenance, and maintain a clean, organized workshop.

A Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI in LCV repair and a full UK driving licence are required. We offer ongoing training, annual appraisals and opportunities to progress within our

• Experience carrying out diagnostic and service repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform major and minor repairs to light goods vehicles and trailers.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance (tyre rotation, oil changes).
• Maintain workshop inventory and keep area clean from oil spills and dust.
• Collaborate with repair teams to diagnose and plan repairs.
• Maintain records of repaired or serviced vehicles.
• Provide repair services to clients on the road in case of emergencies.
• Complete required documentation and manage warranty claims or escalate to management.

£17.00 per hour up to £21.00 per hour, DOE. Overtime rate 1.5 x.

37.5h: Monday to Friday. Either 08:00-16:00 or 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00.

We are looking for an experienced and qualified van technician to join our brilliant team at our dealership in Heathrow. As a Van Technician, your role will be to keep our customers' vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant maintenance. The right candidate will be able to deliver an exceptional service and to the highest quality.

Day to day, you will be:

• Performing major and minor repairs to light goods vehicles, trailers and other vehicles.
• Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotation and oil changes.
• Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust.
• Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles.
• Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled.
• Providing repair services to clients on the road in case of emergencies.
• Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management.

Skills & Behaviours Required for this Role:

You will need to be level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in LCV Vehicle Repair and maintenance, plus, will have experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs. What's more, you will need the ability to identify worn & faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards and have a current, full UK driving license for the relevant vehicle classes.
