Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Technical Writer for LogScale to own a critical area of product documentation and shape how customers interact with a powerful data platform. You will translate complex engineering concepts into clear, actionable content for real users, working with a distributed, multi-petabyte system.

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing product documentation for software products with a user-centered focus.
• Proficiency with structured authoring technologies, including DocBook, DITA, and XSLT.
• Strong working knowledge of API documentation, particularly GraphQL and REST.
• Experience with source control (Git or Mercurial), including branching, merging, and version control in command-line environments (Bash).
• Familiarity with SaaS deployments, especially at large scale or in highly automated environments.
• Experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance workflows and drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own your domain and take full responsibility for a defined area of documentation, including content strategy and quality.
• Write for real users and translate complex engineering concepts into clear content.
• Work at scale with a multi-petabyte software solution and communicate its complexity clearly.
• Structure and optimize content using information architecture principles for reuse and consistency.
• Develop tools to streamline the documentation workflow and improve AI prompts for content generation.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and product managers to reflect how the product works for customers.
• Champion style guides and scalable processes across the content team.
• Grow by adopting industry-standard tools, processes, and an SDLC environment.
