Job summary

Trimble in Leeds, UK, is seeking a Technical Trainer to deliver remote and in-person training for construction clients of all sizes and ensure a best-in-class onboarding experience. You will tailor training to client size and work with internal teams to deepen knowledge of software features to enable clients to use the software to its full potential.

You will collaborate with internal teams to develop knowledge of software features and ensure clients get the most value from Trimble solutions.

Qualifications

• Educational background or hands-on experience in electrical engineering, construction, civil engineering, architecture, quantity surveying, or project management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• A self-starter mindset with strong organisation and time management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist new or existing clients with training needs and questions such as new client installation.
• Provide technical training via various onsite and virtual training methods.
• Provide client support by actively working in the training queue when not in training or working on training documentation.
• Manage end-to-end client onboarding, system setup, and process mapping with clear documentation.
• Cultivate lasting partner relationships, serving as a go-to expert and client advocate.
• Create and update materials for classroom trainings and eLearning courses.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Educational background or hands-on experience in electrical engineering, construction, civil engineering, architecture, quantity surveying, or project management

• Ability to make effective, timely decisions
• Knowledge of Google Suite (Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• A self-starter mindset with strong organisation and time management capabilities

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with Electrical Design products or similar ConTech software platforms
• Background in developing and leading electrical design training

Logistics:

Location: Leeds, UK - four days in office Travel Requirement: Up to 25%
