Job summary

Confidential in the United Kingdom is seeking an office-based sales professional to handle incoming inquiries, qualify customer needs, provide accurate quotations and convert them into orders. You will also run outbound calls to existing customers, lapsed accounts and new prospects to grow the order book.

Full product training is provided and you will work with experienced technical colleagues. A strong telephone manner, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn a technical product range

Qualifications

• Experience in telesales or sales support.
• Confident on the telephone with outbound calling.
• Accurate and methodical with attention to detail on pricing and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound enquiries via telephone and email, identify product specifications and quote accurately.
• Prepare and issue quotations and drive them to conversion.
• Make proactive outbound calls to existing customers, lapsed accounts and new prospects.
• Process orders accurately, confirming specification, quantity, price, lead time and delivery.
• Build knowledge of gauges, regulators, air prep equipment and related lines to give sound first-line advice.
• Refer complex inquiries to technical colleagues and follow through to resolution.
• Support distributor and OEM accounts with pricing and lead times.
• Liaise with purchasing, production and despatch to keep customers informed.
