Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Technical Team Lead (Band 7) to oversee two specialist electronic assistive technology services in the North East and North Cumbria. The role leads Clinical Scientists, Technologists and Equipment Officers, ensuring clinical governance and service delivery across RCAS and RECS.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree or equivalent and HCPC/RCT registration.
• Evidence of specialist CPD to masters level equivalence.
• Registered with the relevant professional body (e.g., IPEM).
• Post-registration clinical experience in the provision of electronic assistive technology.

Responsabilités

• Line management and governance of Clinical Scientists, Clinical Technologists, Rehabilitation Technicians and Equipment Officers across RCAS and RECS.
• Provide expert guidance on management and provision of specialist assistive technology with knowledge of Medical Device Regulations.
• Oversee whole lifecycle of equipment and ensure local policies are up to date and followed.
• Collaborate with Therapy Team Lead and Clinical Manager to lead a diverse multi-disciplinary team.
