Job summary

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust seeks a Clinical Technologist to join the Electronic Assistive Technology Service. You will assess patients with complex disabilities, install and commission assistive equipment, and train patients and carers to ensure safe, effective use.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team across the East Midlands, providing ongoing support and maintaining equipment while participating in service development and staff training.

Qualifications

• Suitable degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or equivalent experience.
• Experience in healthcare settings and NHS familiarity is desirable.
• Knowledge of environmental control systems and their applications.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary clinical assessments of patients with complex disabilities.
• Assemble, install and commission electronic assistive equipment for home or mobile use.
• Provide training and ongoing support, maintaining equipment in good order.
• Contribute to development of processes to ensure high-quality EATS service.
• Engage in ongoing training and development with the team.
