Job summary

Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Technical Team Lead to oversee two specialist electronic assistive technology services (RCAS and RECS) across the North East and North Cumbria region.

You will line-manage Clinical Scientists, Clinical Technologists, Rehabilitation Technicians and Equipment Officers, provide guidance on Medical Device Regulations and the full lifecycle of assistive equipment, and work with the Therapy Team Lead and Clinical Manager to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in line management of multi-disciplinary clinical teams.
• Knowledge of Medical Device Regulations and related governance.

Responsibilities

• Line-manage Clinical Scientists, Clinical Technologists, Rehabilitation Technicians and Equipment Officers across RCAS and RECS.
• Provide expert guidance on management and provision of assistive technology and equipment lifecycle.
• Ensure local policies and procedures are up to date and compliant.
• Collaborate with Therapy Team Lead and Clinical Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering patient-centred care.
• Support client-facing assessments and installation/logistics as required.
