Job summary

CNTW is seeking a Technical Team Lead to oversee two regional assistive technology services (RCAS and RECS) based in the North East and North Cumbria. You will lead Clinical Scientists and allied staff, ensuring high-quality equipment provision and compliant clinical governance.

You will also conduct specialist assessments, supervise installation, and coordinate service delivery to adults and children with complex needs, with emphasis on collaboration and patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree or equivalent.
• HCPC/RCT registered or equivalent.
• Evidence of specialist CPD to masters level equivalence.

Responsibilities

• Line management and governance of Clinical Scientists, Clinical Technologists, Rehabilitation Technicians and Equipment Officers across RCAS and RECS.
• Provide expert guidance on management and provision of specialist assistive technology and ensure local policies and procedures are up to date.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high quality, patient-centred care and collaborate with Therapy Team Lead and Clinical Manager.
• Conduct specialist assessments for equipment provision and support installation of equipment.
• Meet transport requirements of a regional community-based service.
