Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is recruiting Area Sales Manager for the North region, covering commercial boilers, hot water systems and heat pumps. You will engage M&E consultants and contractors, driving sales to housing associations and developers while coordinating with a specification manager.

The role focuses on 70% new business and 30% account management, with order values typically ranging from £5k to £200k+. A hybrid company car, pension and healthcare are included as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Must have experience selling to M&E consultants, M&E contractors, engineers, housing associations, social housing & developers.
• Experience selling HVAC/ plumbing products: commercial boilers, water heating & heat pumps.
• Ideally have sound understanding of technical drawings.
• Self-starter with strong people skills and relationship-building.
• Technical communicator who conveys complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Sell a range of commercial boilers, hot water systems and heat pumps.
• Work in a buddy system with a dedicated specification manager.
• Target M&E consultants, M&E contractors, housing associations and developers.
• Concentrate on commercial projects for universities, hospitals and hotels.
• Deal with order values between £5k and £200k+.

Responsibilities

• Field sales position selling a comprehensive range of manufactured commercial boilers, hot water systems and heat pumps
• Working in a buddy system with a dedicated specification manager
• All of your time will be spent selling to M&E consultants, M&E contractors, engineers, housing associations, social housing & developers
• 100% concentration on commercial projects sales for typical end users such as universities, hospitals & hotels
• Dealing with order values of between £5k-£200k+
• 70% new business / 30% account management

Qualifications

• Must have experience selling to and dealing with M&E consultants, M&E contractors, engineers, housing associations, social housing & developers
• Must have experience of selling a technical related HVAC / plumbing and heating product such as: commercial boilers, water heating systems, chilled water systems, heated water systems, boilers, pumps, pipes, pressurisation systems, pressure gauges, heating controls, valves, fan coils, radiators, chillers, heat exchangers, heat pumps
• Ideally have sound understanding on technical drawings
• Self-starter, people person and relationship builder
• Technical good communicator
