Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited in Basingstoke, Hampshire is seeking a Technical Support Analyst to join our office-based team. Salary £30,000 - £35,000 + training and excellent benefits. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave with immediate starts.

You will support customers, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to knowledge base improvements while learning new technologies in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Customer Support, Technical Support, Helpdesk or Service Desk.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Good Microsoft 365 and IT skills with ticketing or CRM systems experience.
• Keen to learn new technologies and work within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer incidents and service requests to resolution using a ticket system.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate when required, with clear customer communication.
• Maintain documentation, update knowledge articles, and support service improvements.
• Operate the service desk rota within a Monday–Friday schedule.
• Support a 12-month fixed-term contract role as maternity cover.
