Job summary

G’s Group near Ely, Cambs, is seeking a Technical Support Administrator to join the team and support the delivery of excellent technical service across customers and internal teams. The role is based at the site near Ely and focuses on administration, communication, and data handling.

You will coordinate KPIs, manage customer returns, update product specs, and help prepare reports and presentations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative, coordination, or technical support role is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple systems and deadlines.
• Confident communicator; comfortable with data, documents, and cross‑team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and update technical KPIs, complaint trends, and shelf-life data internally and externally.
• Manage and respond to customer returns and queries; analyse trend data to support quality improvements.
• Update product specs, artwork, and new line forms for the technical team.
• Prepare and format internal/external presentations and crop reports.
• Attend availability meetings and support cross-functional collaboration.
• Assist with specification reviews and version control during changes.
• Support technical projects, audits, and improvement activities.

We’re now looking for a Technical Support Administrator to join our teamsupporting the delivery of excellent technical service across our customers and internal teams, based at our site near Ely, Cambs.

What You'll Be Doing:

You’ll play a vital role in the smooth operation of the technical function, with a focus on administration, communication, and data handling.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and update technical KPIs, complaint trends, and shelf-life data, both internally and externally.
• Manage and respond to customer returns and queries, while analysing trend data to support quality improvements.
• Support the technical team in managing and updating product specs, artwork, and new line forms.
• Help prepare and format internal/external presentations and crop reports.
• Attend availability meetings and contribute to cross-functional collaboration.
• Assist with specification reviews and version control in response to performance or seasonal changes.
• Support technical projects, audits, and improvement activities.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in an administrative, coordination, or technical support role, in food, FMCG, retail, or supply chain would be advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail — able to manage multiple systems and deadlines.
• Confident communicator — comfortable working with data, documents, and people across different teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• A proactive mindset with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
