Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Reading is seeking a Technical Supervisor to lead on-site technical services, manage a team of technicians, and drive self-performed work while coordinating specialist subcontractors to meet service level agreements.

You will oversee maintenance activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in delivery and cost efficiency, while identifying opportunities for expanded services and working within budget and contract requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a technical supervisory role in FM or maintenance.
• Proficient with work order systems and planning software.
• Strong analytical, organizational and planning capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete projects.
• Engineering background with ability to estimate labour and materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience reading blueprints and process drawings.
• Knowledge of maintenance processes and storeroom controls.
• Willingness to lead by example in hands-on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical services that meet client expectations and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental programs.
• Manage a team of technicians to deliver services and maximize self-performed work.
• Oversee specialist subcontractors to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage budgets in line with the contract model and service lines.
• Provide solutions and quotations for small project works.
• Identify opportunities to expand scope and add services.
• Carry out maintenance and repair activities as required.
• Manage on-site technical service delivery.
