Job summary

Nestlé is recruiting a Technical Stores Operator for its Tutbury, Derbyshire site. The role focuses on maintaining engineering parts availability, stock control, and collaborating with suppliers to optimise inventory levels. It is a permanent, on-site position reporting to the Stores Manager.

The successful candidate will support spare parts management, manage cycle counts, and ensure timely delivery of kits to engineering workshops, with a focus on efficiency and cost control.

Qualifications

• Experience using SAP or similar MRP systems in an industrial setting.
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel skills are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store levels and ensure parts availability.
• Manage stock availability and supplier relationships.
• Support spare parts management routines and cost of operation.
• Produce kit reservations from stock and deliveries, with work order IDs.
• Deliver kits to local engineering workshops before maintenance starts.
