Nestlé York Factory is seeking an Engineering Technician to lead the factory asset maintenance programme, reducing unplanned stops and optimising costs.
You will inspect, repair, and analyse failures, provide technical guidance, and contribute to annual maintenance budgeting in a hands-on food manufacturing setting. The role requires electrical/mechanical training, 18th Edition, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for the implementation and execution of the factory asset maintenance programme aimed to eliminate unplanned stops and optimise maintenance cost and as a result increase asset intensity.
This includes the repairing, reporting and analysis of unplanned technical failures, and the execution of planned and scheduled maintenance in order to prevent unplanned technical failures. Provide technical expertise to reduce both technical and production losses, including coaching and/or participating in problem solving, implementing solutions, sharing knowledge, building competence.
