Job summary

Hastings Direct is seeking a Technical Specialist – Credit Hire to join our hybrid team across Bexhill and Leicester. You’ll work with operations leaders to review KPIs, identify technical needs, and deliver targeted development for colleagues through the academy framework.

Bring strong problem-solving, clear communication, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to drive risk-mitigated improvements in a fast-paced digital insurance environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor outcomes/KPIs using data to support improvement through technical development.
• Identify technical needs/themes for individual colleagues when creating and delivering technical development.
• Support the technical lead to cultivate the right capability for their functions, including training from the academy.
• Collaborate with team leaders to build technical capability across teams and develop a technical strategy.
• Use audits, coaching, and control reports to identify development requirements and implement solutions.
• Understand market developments impacting Credit Hire performance and help mitigate risks.
