Hastings Direct is seeking a Credit Hire Claims Advisor in Bexhill-on-Sea. The role involves managing a portfolio of credit hire claims from initial notification to settlement, ensuring liability and indemnity decisions are accurate and in line with business strategy.
Hybrid working offers one day in the office per week with the rest remote; training is virtual for the initial period. The company provides a supportive environment with training, development, and career opportunities.

You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00.
Our fantastic Bexhill office, which is next to the seafront, and only a short walk from Collington station.
With hybrid working, you have more flexibility, as you usually only have to visit our office once a week and work remotely for the rest of the time. You can always opt to work from the office more frequently if that suits you better. When we organise training and events you may be required to attend in person for the duration.
The starting salary is £28,800 plus benefits
The core training lasts for the first 8 weeks of your role and is completed virtually.

As a Credit Hire Claims Handler, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of credit hire claims. You'll take full ownership of the claim from first notification of the hire claim until it has been settled, whilst delivering the best financial outcome in line with our business strategy. You'll need to accurately identify the correct liability status, indemnity position and manage and control hire spends through negotiation, investigation and provision of services.
