Job summary

BAXI is seeking a Technical Solutions Manager for the North West region to expand solutions selling across the HVAC sector. You will leverage relationships with specifiers and key contractors, aligning to decarbonization trends and utilizing Baxi ranges to meet customer requirements.

You will engage with design engineers and contractors, translate market insights into opportunities, and drive growth through distribution partners while delivering KPI targets and project pipelines.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience within a technical and engineering discipline or be educated to HND/Degree level.
• Proven track record of delivering lead generation and sales across multiple channels and market segments.
• Experience of senior-level negotiation and dealing within conflict.
• Ability to use mathematical concepts to create solutions for presentation and implementation to a non-technical audience.
• Highly numerate; turn data into information and action.
• Understand and interpret the market, products and services.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Broad knowledge of UK construction routes to market.
• Experience in a highly technical B2B manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge/understanding and ownership of government framework agreements.
• Experience implementing a low carbon and high efficiency agenda.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Solutions selling strategy, growth and lead generation within your defined area.
• Deliver solutions to specifiers and contractors needs to build an order bank via distribution partners.
• Work with the Technical Solutions team for technical support and solution design for decarbonization.
• Identify opportunities to use existing brands for growth into new HVAC sectors.
• Manage day-to-day sales activity, reports and communications.
• Forecast demand and identify trends through relationships with key customers and decision makers.
• Handle multiple projects at different stages concurrently.
• Provide detailed consultations with Design engineers and Contractors.
• Negotiate and manage customer needs to influence buying decisions.
