Job summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to support Total FM operations across residential developments from Battersea, ensuring full compliance with building safety rules and O&M specifications, and proactive management of on-site Hard, Soft and M&E services and building defects.

The role requires managing both in-house and contractor-delivered services, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and maintaining high standards of health and safety, reporting using MS

Qualifications

• Experience in building and/or facilities management and statutory compliance within a Total FM environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation, excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practice.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting and operational delivery.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements.
• Ensure procured products and services are of specified quality, safe, compliant and from traceable sources.
• Manage project-specific risks with risk management plans.
• Act as a competent person in one or more M&E specialisms to assist with building/fire safety.
• Manage, monitor, procure, review and improve services under contracts, directly or via contractors.
• Identify cost-saving and profit-making opportunities within contract bounds.
• Deliver service with full understanding of specification and statutory requirements.

Job description

Pinnacle Group are looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager to support on Total FM operations across a portfolio of residential developments located in Battersea to ensure full compliance with building safety rules and O&M specifications, providing proactive management of onsite Hard, Soft and M&E services, facilities and building defects. In this role, you will management of all services including new building defects delivered either in-house or by contractors- efficient and cost effective management of contractors on site.

Our Homes Division delivers trusted housing management services across Affordable, Private Rented and Leasehold properties. We work with local authorities, registered providers and investors to support thriving communities.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in building and or facilities management and managing statutory compliance within a Total FM environment. They will have a strong understanding of health and safety legislation, excellent customer service and communication skills, sound knowledge of industry regulations and best practice, and be confident using Microsoft Office applications to support operational delivery and reporting.

Key requirements:

• Practical knowledge and management of statutory compliance requirements
• Technical qualification in FM or building services is advantageous
• Possess a firm understanding of general and building related Health & Safety
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry guidelines
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
