Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking an experienced Technical Services Maintenance Manager to lead a multi-site technical services team in the Northampton area. You will drive energy efficiency, manage maintenance programs and oversee contract performance, including financial results.

The role requires strong leadership, client-facing skills, and a track record in FM. You will report on performance, develop your team, and collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver value across sites.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC.
• IOSH Managing Safely certification.
• Proven FM industry experience and leadership.
• Strong financial acumen with multi-million budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical services team across client sites and ensure operational excellence.
• Drive energy efficiency initiatives and compliance with QSHE standards.
• Oversee P&L and contract performance, vendor relations and monthly reporting.
• Ensure CDM and SHE compliance and develop team capabilities.

  We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Maintenance Manager to lead our technical services team, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with QSHE standards across our high-profile client sites. You will manage complex projects, drive energy efficiency initiatives, and oversee financial performance while maintaining strong client relationships.

  
  

  You’ll take ownership of energy management initiatives to reduce consumption and drive cost efficiencies, oversee planned preventative maintenance and prioritize reactive tasks, and manage complex projects to completion on time and within budget in line with CDM and SHE regulations. In addition, you will be responsible for the commercial performance of the contract, including P&L management, vendor relationships, and accurate monthly reporting. A key part of the role involves developing and motivating your team to achieve strategic objectives, while building strong client relationships and representing the business at regular performance meetings.

  
  

  As an Apleona Technical Services Maintenance Manager, we’re looking for:

  
  
  
  
  • City & Guilds qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC
  
  
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification
  
  
  • Proven experience as a Technical Account Manager or similar role within the FM Industry
  
  
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-pound budgets
  
  
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
  
  
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, CAFM, and Navision systems
  
  
  
  
  
  
  • Professional FM or business qualification (desirable)
  
  
  • Knowledge of mobile hard services and SFG20 standards (desirable)
  
  
  • Valid UK Driving license with access to personal vehicle
