Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking an Electrical Technician to perform planned and reactive maintenance at our Hursley site. The role involves interaction with clients and tenants, and acting as one of two APs for LV systems on site.

You will handle PPM tasks, reactive repairs, fault diagnosis and contribute to continuous improvements while following a 1 week in 4 on-call rota. The role offers full training and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulation.
• Other formal electrical qualifications such as C&G Level 3.
• Experience in a facilities management environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong decision making ability.

Responsibilities

• Legislative PPM tasks – including Emergency Luminaire Inspection, Test and Repair.
• Reactive Maintenance tasks to a variety of plant and equipment as directed by the helpdesk.
• Site AP for LV – Includes all AP duties and responsibilities.
• Functional Switching of 11KV distribution network.
• Fault diagnosis and solution identification/implementation.
• Risk assessment.
• Out of hours callout support based on a 1 week in 4 rota.
• Adherence to PPM assigned to you by the scheduler.
• Contribution to continuous process/system improvement.
• Accurate identification of faults and timely implementation of appropriate solutions.

  Hours – Monday – Friday, 08:00 -17:00

  We are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Technician who will undertake planned and reactive maintenance. You will be hardworking and committed to ensuring the highest standards are always adhered to, readily interacting with our client / tenants as required. You will also be one of two appointed AP’s for the LV systems on site.

  As part of the Electrical Technician role, you will:
