Job summary

Apleona is seeking an experienced Technical Services Maintenance Manager for Midlands-based sites with travel to other locations. This permanent, full-time role leads the technical services team, drives energy efficiency, and ensures QSHE compliance across high-profile client sites.

You will manage P&L, vendor relationships, and monthly reporting while developing the team and maintaining strong client relationships. The role requires leadership and a proactive, delivery-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC.
• IOSH Managing Safely certification.
• Proven experience as a Technical Account Manager or similar role within the FM Industry.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-pound budgets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, CAFM, and Navision systems.
• Professional FM or business qualification (desirable).
• Knowledge of mobile hard services and SFG20 standards (desirable).
• Valid UK Driving license with access to personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical services team to ensure operational excellence and compliance with QSHE standards across client sites.
• Own energy management initiatives to reduce consumption and drive cost efficiencies.
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance and prioritise reactive tasks.
• Manage complex projects to completion on time and within budget in line with CDM and SHE regulations.
• Be responsible for the contract's commercial performance including P&L management and monthly reporting.
• Develop and motivate the team to achieve strategic objectives and build strong client relationships.
• Represent the business at regular performance meetings.

Technical Services Maintenance Manager

Location – Midlands, preferably Northampton area. Travel required to other locations

Permanent/ Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Maintenance Manager to lead our technical services team, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with QSHE standards across our high-profile client sites. You will manage complex projects, drive energy efficiency initiatives, and oversee financial performance while maintaining strong client relationships.

You’ll take ownership of energy management initiatives to reduce consumption and drive cost efficiencies, oversee planned preventative maintenance and prioritize reactive tasks, and manage complex projects to completion on time and within budget in line with CDM and SHE regulations. In addition, you will be responsible for the commercial performance of the contract, including P&L management, vendor relationships, and accurate monthly reporting. A key part of the role involves developing and motivating your team to achieve strategic objectives, while building strong client relationships and representing the business at regular performance meetings.
