Technical Services Commercial Manager – 12 month Fixed Term Contract, Strong chance of Permanent

Are you a commercially astute professional with a deep understanding of technical facilities management? We're looking for a Technical Services Commercial Manager to help shape and drive scalable, data-informed asset management solutions across an FM portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering and commercial strategy, helping to develop market-leading offerings that deliver value to clients and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a scalable and consistent pricing/resourcing strategy for technical FM services, with a focus on asset management.
  2. Translate technical service offerings into compelling marketing and bid collateral that inspire client confidence and support business growth.
  3. Collaborate closely with technical SMEs, bid teams, procurement, and suppliers to ensure commercial consistency and strategic alignment.
  4. Design commercial frameworks and mechanisms to manage risk related to asset data discrepancies during mobilisation.
  5. Build internal and external awareness of the organisation’s engineering and technical FM capabilities.
  6. Influence the development of supply chain agreements that support commercial objectives and pricing models.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience in commercial pricing and solution design within technical FM or engineering services.
  • Strong grasp of asset management principles in a facilities management environment.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills – confident working cross-functionally across operations, sales, procurement, and marketing.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to transform technical concepts into clear and attractive propositions.
  • Tech-savvy with familiarity in FM-related platforms, asset data tools, or CAFM systems (desirable).
