The Job

We’re hiring a Technical SEO manager to bring Flo’s SEO capabilities to the next level. Flo’s website team has been growing strong recently, and we need a technical SEO to help us systemize and improve our approach to technical SEO to set us up for success in growing organic traffic.

You’ll join the SEO team, currently consisting of a single Senior SEO Manager. SEO at Flo is based in Marketing and requires effective collaboration with other departments such as Engineering (MarTech, Analytics), Product (Content, Design, User Research), Legal, and Medical.

The team you’ll work closely with includes: Senior SEO Manager, Product Manager, Engineering Manager + 2 engineers, QA manager, CMS release manager, Web Analyst, Content Lead + 2 content editors.

Your Experience

Must have:

• 3+ years of experience working in SEO in-house or at an agency, with a strong focus on technical SEO;
• Ability to thrive in problem-solving environments and work autonomously;
• Confidence in decision-making and providing actionable suggestions;
• Experience managing complex SEO projects independently, such as crawling, schema optimization, site architecture adjustments, and launching new pages;
• Experience migrating websites and/or CMS;
• Knowledge of Google’s guidelines with an adaptable approach to practical solutions;
• Basic HTML knowledge and familiarity with developer tools to identify technical issues;
• Experience collaborating with engineers and effective communication skills;
• Basic GA4 and advanced GSC knowledge;
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira;
• Strong ownership and resilience, with a collaborative approach to website improvements;
• Ability to build business cases and persuade stakeholders using data, supported by our website analyst;
• Open-minded attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Contentful, Looker, and GTM;
• Knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript.

What you'll be doing

Responsibilities include:

• Identifying and resolving technical issues across our website and subdomains;
• Collaborating with the website team to deliver new pages and optimize existing ones;
• Improving website architecture and functionality to enhance Flo’s visibility and revenue, alongside the Senior SEO Manager;
• Leading a CMS migration to Contentful and implementing architecture changes, including rebuilding the site in a new coding language;
• Developing processes to maintain search leadership, including Generative Engine Optimization and AI Overviews;
• Discovering new SEO opportunities to achieve our goals;
• Working closely with Engineering to foster positive relationships;
• Evaluating potential website acquisition targets;
• Ensuring SEO best practices are followed without compromising on quality;
• Analyzing the impact of your work.

Success metrics:

• Maintaining Flo’s website health through monitoring and process creation;
• Enhancing organic visibility via structured data and site structure optimization;
• Ensuring a smooth migration without performance loss.

Compensation

London: £53,000—£60,000 gross/year
Vilnius: €3,500—€4,150 gross/month

Ranges depend on skills, experience, and competencies.
