Job summary

Huntress is recruiting a Technical Sales Support Engineer in Peterborough to combine engineering knowledge with customer and commercial activity, supporting the sales team with enquiries and quotations. You will interpret technical specifications, review customer requirements, perform basic calculations, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to deliver viable solutions.

The role offers a salary of £35,000-£42,000, 24 days’ annual leave, pension contributions, life assurance, health

Qualifications

Experience in engineering/manufacturing environment is desirable.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and customer requirements.
Strong communication with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Review customer enquiries, specifications and requirements and determine the appropriate technical solution.
Support the preparation of quotations, tenders and customer proposals.
Interpret technical information, drawings and product specifications.
Carry out basic technical calculations, including weights and dimensions.
Work with sales, engineering, operations and workshop teams to deliver customer requirements.
