Job summary

MGF Ltd, operating from our depot in Scotland, seeks a technically minded Technical Sales Representative to cover Glasgow and surrounding west areas. You will promote all MGF products, manage existing business and generate new accounts to achieve revenue targets.

You will join the Depot Operations Team and Sales Manager, working in a hands-on civil engineering/construction environment with opportunities for career progression and a strong commission structure.

Qualifications

• Experience within shoring or construction.
• Strong technical ability.
• Good commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver profitable growth in the assigned territory through new and existing customer orders, with focus on account and project management.
• Plan calls, travel and meetings to manage appointments and schedules.
• Maintain flexibility to meet customer needs and react to market changes.
• Represent MGF as an ambassador at events, exhibitions and presentations.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for aTechnical Sales Representativeto join the team operating from our depot in Scotland, covering the area of Glasgow and surrounding west areas.

Technically minded with hands on experience in the civil engineering/construction industry, you will work with the Depot Operations Team and Sales Manager to actively promote all MGF’s products and services to the construction industry. You will manage existing business and generate new accounts, in order to achieve budgeted levels of revenue in a profitable and professional manner.

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Deliver within the assigned territory profitable growth, through development of orders from both new and existing customers, with equal focus on both account management and project management
• Manage appointments, schedules and time by effective planning of calls, travel and meetings
• Maintain flexibility to ensure reactiveness to meet customer needs
• Represent MGF and be an ambassador at events, exhibitions and presentations

The core requirements for this role are:

• Experience within shoring or construction
• Strong technical ability
• Good commercial awareness
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous sales experience
