Job summary

Travail Employment Group is recruiting for a Sales Engineer in the Northamptonshire area. Office based with some travel to client sites across the UK, offering a basic salary of 30,000–35,000 plus car allowance and uncapped commission.

The role includes full training, progression prospects, and a comprehensive benefits package. The successful candidate will join a globally recognised engineering business, develop through a structured training programme, and advance toward a Territory Sales

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, telesales, business development, customer service, engineering or related field beneficial.
• Confident communicator with ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Driven, proactive and highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Follow up sales enquiries and generated leads.
• Make outbound calls to identify and engage decision-makers.
• Generate new business opportunities and develop customer relationships.
• Assist with preparation of technical quotations and proposals.
• Support the wider sales team in securing new contracts.
• Attend customer meetings alongside experienced sales professionals.
• Participate in virtual meetings with prospective clients.
• Help deliver professional sales presentations and customer pitches.
• Learn technical product specifications and industry applications.
