Job summary

Travail Employment Group is recruiting a Sales Engineer for an office-based role in Northamptonshire (NN8) with occasional travel to client sites across the UK. The vacancy offers £30,000-£35,000 basic salary plus car allowance, uncapped commission and clear career progression.

Reporting to the Senior Regional Sales Manager, you will receive comprehensive training across the sales process and product portfolio, with the ambition to progress to a Territory Sales Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, or engineering/technical/customer-facing background.
• Confident communicator capable of building relationships at all levels.
• Motivated, ambitious and eager to learn with a long-term sales career.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

Responsibilities

• Following up sales enquiries and generated leads
• Making outbound calls to identify and engage decision-makers
• Generating new business opportunities and developing customer relationships
• Assisting with the preparation of technical quotations and proposals
• Supporting the wider sales team in securing new contracts
• Attending customer meetings alongside experienced sales professionals
• Participating in virtual meetings with prospective clients
• Helping deliver professional sales presentations and customer pitches
• Learning technical product specifications and industry applications
