Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking an Engineering Sales Executive for its Northamptonshire offices. The role starts with full on-the-job training and offers progression toward Sales Manager, with a strong base plus commission potential.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, comfortable with outbound calls, and excited to develop a career in sales within the construction/engineering sectors. A driving licence and UK travel are required, with a company car/allowance provided.

Qualifications

• Requires experience in outbound sales or telesales/field sales.
• Naturally communicative and able to engage at all levels over the phone.
• Keen to build a long-term career in sales and earn commission on top of base salary.
• Engineering/technical interest helpful for discussions and quotations.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on leads and make outbound calls to identify decision makers.
• Lead generation and assisting the sales team with quotations.
• Attend client meetings across the south of the UK and participate in meetings via Teams.
• Assist with pitches and quotations to win new contracts.
