Job summary

Quest Technical Ltd is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Engineer for our Lancashire site. You will serve as a key technical and commercial liaison, translating customer needs into precise quotations and costings.

The role requires interpreting drawings and CAD models, developing labour and tooling costings, and coordinating with vendors to secure lead times. You will engage with customers, suppliers and subcontractors to clarify requirements and support tender activity.

Qualifications

Experience as Technical Sales Engineer with ability to interpret drawings and translate requirements into technical and commercial quotations.
Ability to prepare accurate labour, material, tooling and routing costings.
Experience with liaising with customers, suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing, lead times and clarifications.

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit formal quotations and provide technical support through tender and quotation processes.
Produce accurate technical and commercial quotations and pricing for customers.
Interpret drawings, CAD models and customer requirements to support proposals.
Collaborate with customers and suppliers to obtain information and confirm lead times.
