Candour Talent Ltd invites applications for a Technical Sales Engineer to join the Newport team. This is a full-time, office-based position offering a commercially and technically minded individual the chance to support projects, grow sales in a global market, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Promptly respond to incoming customer enquiries and maintain clear and efficient communication
• Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships, always providing a high standard of customer service
• Identify customer requirements effectively and prepare orders for processing in the ERP system
• Advise customers on suitable product selections for their requirements
• Accurately prepare quotations from Price Lists or from supplier costs and considering available stock
• Follow up on quotations, responding to feedback as needed
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers regarding delivery times
• Prepare and raise purchase orders
• Provide effective technical and commercial support to customers and external sales team, utilising support from the engineering department etc.
• Pride overall product management and provide product training for customers and staff, when required
• Assist QA with response to customer complaints, from receipt through to conclusion
• Liaise with QA to ensure legislative requirements are for maintained and current
• Possible travel to customer sites in the UK and overseas, as required
