Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer for capital equipment based in Harlow, Essex. The role focuses on winning new business for high-value machinery and automation solutions, developing existing accounts, and maximising aftermarket opportunities.

You will work with engineering support to create proposals, quotes and tenders, manage the pipeline and meet sales targets. This is an individual contributor role with UK-wide travel and occasional Europe trips.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in B2B machinery / capital equipment sales.
• Confident, consultative seller with technical understanding.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management and pipeline discipline.
• Full UK driving licence; travel as required.

Technical Sales Engineer - Capital Equipment

• Salary Guide: 40,000 - 45,000 PA, Plus Commission - Excellent OTE
• Hours: Monday to Friday: 8.00am to 5.00pm (40 hours per week)

A specialist engineering machinery manufacturer, supplying precision processing equipment to manufacturing clients in the UK and overseas, is looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer as part of continued growth and long-term investment in facilities and engineering capability.

Role overview:

You will be responsible for winning new business for high-value machinery/automation solutions, while developing existing accounts and maximising aftermarket/spares opportunities. Working with engineering support, you'll build proposals, quotes and tenders, manage the pipeline and deliver against sales targets. This is an individual contributor role (no people management). UK-wide travel with occasional Europe trips.
