Technical Sales Engineer

Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our well established client.

Job Duties:

• Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and project requirements.
• Interpret technical drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain up-to-date material costs, particularly pricing.
• Clearly explain products and services to clients in a professional and understandable manner.
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure tailored, practical solutions are proposed.
• Attend customer facilities and project sites for discussions and scoping when required.
• Conduct site measurements using surveying equipment (preferred but not essential).
• Contribute ideas and participate in discussions to generate new business opportunities.
• Undertake relevant training and development as required by the company.
• Perform other comparable duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• A degree or HNC/HND in an engineering discipline (Not essential but an advantage).
• Previous experience in an engineering environment.
• Be able to read drawings and quote accordingly.
• Personable, presentable, and articulate.
• A sound understanding of manufacturing and engineering principles.
• Strong administration, organisation, and communication skills.
• Experience in site surveying (Not essential but an advantage).

Salary: GBP32,000 Per Annum.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.

This is a Full time, Permanent position.
