Job summary

Thales in the UK offers a 3–4 year Technical Publications & Training Apprenticeship, developing engineering knowledge across electronic, mechanical, software, and ILS, with hands-on experience on real Thales projects.

The programme blends on-campus study with paid work, aiming for a Level 3 Engineering & Manufacturing Support Technician Apprenticeship. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and may require BPSS/Security clearance.

Qualifications

• GCSEs English and Maths (grades 9-4) required.
• Anyone with a BTEC/HNC/HND or degree will not be eligible.
• Study towards Level 3 Engineering & Manufacturing Support Technician Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering knowledge within Technical Publications and Training Services.
• Build technical expertise through on-the-job training and academic study.
• Support the team with service-engineering activities.
• Ensure work is delivered to deadlines and within budget.
• Adhere to Thales documentation processes.
