Thales Group in Templecombe, United Kingdom, is offering a Level 3 Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician Apprenticeship. This 3.5-year programme combines college study at Yeovil College with hands-on placements at Thales, rotating across manufacturing areas to build real skills in assembly, wiring, soldering, and ESd safety.

You will earn £24,000 per year, work on-site 37 hours weekly, with paid training, a salary during study, and a route to a permanent role on completion.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs grade 9-4 (A-C) including English and Maths.
• Must have permanent right to work in the UK and pass security checks (BPSS/SC).
• Rotation through manufacturing placements to build hands-on skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with assembly, testing, and inspection of components and sub-assemblies.
• Support daily production activities and setup/operate manufacturing equipment.
• Learn to read technical drawings and engineering specs.
• Follow UK health, safety and company safety policies.
• Maintain production records and report faults promptly.
• Participate in apprenticeship training modules and qualifications.
