Job summary

Travelfusion is seeking an experienced technical project manager to lead end-to-end software engineering projects from London. You will align engineering, product and commercial teams to deliver high-impact initiatives while managing scope, timelines, risks and dependencies.

You will ensure technical feasibility, oversee deployment, integration and governance across international teams, and drive best practices in security and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical project management experience.
• Understanding of SDLC, API integrations, databases, and cybersecurity.
• YouTrack or equivalent issue tracking experience.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to coordinate across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and document project scope, objectives and success criteria.
• Manage and prioritise technology-driven projects with on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with development teams for deployment and integration.

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced technical project manager to join our project team. You will manage end-to-end software engineering projects lifecycles, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals. You will work very closely with engineering, product and commercial teams across the business to deliver high-impact projects while managing timelines, risks and dependencies. You will also ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives.

• Define and document project scope, objectives and success criteria.
• Manage and prioritise technology-driven projects, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure smooth software deployment and integration.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Track and report project progress, milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Implement a range of methodologies to ensure the most efficient workflow depending on the project scope.
• Monitor project progress, track key metrics and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Oversee and improve technical documentation, system requirements and quality assurance processes.
• Ensuring compliance with security policies, data governance and industry best practices in India and internationally.
• Foster strong collaboration, communication and problem-solving among team members and stakeholders.

• Identify risks, dependencies and technical challenges to ensure project success.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical subject.
• 5+ years of experience in technical project management, software development or IT project delivery
• Good understanding of software development life cycles, API integrations, databases, system architecture, and cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of YouTrack ticketing system or similar technology
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and stakeholder communication
• Ability to interact with technical and non-technical teams including external stakeholders
• High adaptability with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Ideally experience in an international travel technology, cutting edge company
