Job Overview:
As a Technical Product Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert support to customers, ensuring that their access control systems are installed, configured, and maintained effectively. You will be the go-to person for troubleshooting, issue resolution, and providing detailed technical advice to customers. Technical Product Support has three primary responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in access control or security systems.
Strong understanding of access control systems, networking, and related technologies.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with access control software and hardware, including card readers, controllers, biometric systems, and software platforms.
Customer-focused with a strong attention to detail and a solutions-oriented approach.
