Job summary

Pickerings Hire is expanding its Power & Renewables division to deliver innovative energy solutions including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), solar and EV charging.

We are seeking a technically knowledgeable renewable-energy professional to join our team and help grow this key area of the business. You will provide technical and product support to our sales teams, depots and customers.

Qualifications

• Proven technical knowledge of renewable energy and power technologies.
• Experience in an electrical/engineering/renewable-energy environment desirable.
• Full UK driving licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across BESS, solar, hybrid generation, EV charging and temporary power solutions.
• Assess customer and site requirements, including load profiles and site constraints.
• Support product selection, system configuration and technical quotations.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers on technical information, pricing and availability.
• Support sales teams in developing Power & Renewables opportunities.
• Develop product packages, technical guidance and internal training.
• Assist in introducing new technologies and products.
