Job summary

egg Power is seeking a Technical Manager to lead the delivery of renewable energy projects across the UK. This role encompasses overseeing projects from inception to operational handover, focusing on onshore wind, solar PV, and battery energy storage systems.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in utility-scale projects. Strong skills in stakeholder management and grid compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience delivering utility-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience in onshore wind, solar PV, BESS, and grid connection infrastructure.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical oversight of renewable energy projects from acquisition through construction.
• Manage technical due diligence for RTB and late-stage development acquisitions.
• Support commissioning, energisation, performance testing, and project handover.
