Job summary
Pickerings Hire is expanding its Power & Renewables division and seeks a technically knowledgeable professional to deliver energy solutions. You will support sales teams, depots and customers by translating enquiries into practical energy configurations, focusing on BESS, solar and hybrid systems.
The role is office-based at our Measham Head Office, 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary dependent on experience. A relevant qualification and UK driving licence are advantageous.
Qualifications
- Technical knowledge of renewable energy and power technologies.
- Experience with BESS, solar and hybrid systems.
- Able to translate enquiries into practical energy solutions.
- UK driving licence advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support across BESS, solar, hybrid generation, EV charging and temporary power solutions.
- Assess customer and site requirements including load profiles, power availability and site constraints.
- Support product selection, system configuration and technical quotations; work with manufacturers on info, pricing and availability.
- Support sales teams in developing Power & Renewables opportunities.
- Develop product packages, technical guidance and internal training.
- Support the introduction of new technologies and products.
