Technical Product Owner – Data. Salary Circa £85,000.

About the job:

As a Technical Product Owner for Data, your responsibilities include:

1. Facilitating the delivery of data analytics products and services with a dedicated Data Engineering team.
2. Overseeing the delivery of new data analytics capabilities and platform enhancements aligned with the Aviva Zero Data Strategy, platform roadmap, and architecture patterns.
3. Ensuring the delivery of regulatory, performance, and financial data to central BI reporting teams.
4. Leading stakeholder engagement and prioritization strategies, managing internal and external demand, and guiding the Data Engineering team through agile sprint planning.
5. Developing, testing, and maintaining user-friendly data architectures and designing innovative solutions for data science, while driving data governance.
6. Expanding the Data Strategy with a focus on Data Quality and Data Governance.
7. Supporting good customer outcomes by ensuring activities comply with ethical standards and regulations.
8. Overseeing business analysis, requirements gathering, performance management, and coaching activities.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a data-focused product manager, preferably within insurance, with knowledge of data modeling and querying; Snowflake experience is a plus.
• Experience managing complex data analytics requirements under pressure.
• Versatility with various delivery methodologies and strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively across teams.
