Job summary

BMJ Group is seeking a Technical Product Manager to drive the build and migration to a new front end platform for BMJ’s journals, enhancing reader experience, performance and accessibility. You will focus on delivery while contributing to discovery, planning and prioritising work within sprints for the technical team.

You will liaise with multiple stakeholders, lead sprint ceremonies, manage the backlog and evaluate outcomes to ensure the platform meets business needs and reader requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven product management skills with strong communication.
• Experience in agile and Scrum teams.
• Experience with headless CMS.
• Experience in STM journals publishing.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with stakeholders to define needs for the new front end platform.
• Lead sprint ceremonies and manage backlog.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across publishing, engineering, UX and editorial.
• Measure performance and impact of migrated journals.
• Triaging bugs and prioritise resolutions.
• Deliver product vision, strategy and goals.
