Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Frontend Lead Software Engineer within the Markets Technology group in the Corporate & Investment Bank. You will drive frontend excellence for the Research Platform, leading end-to-end delivery and shaping the platform's direction in a large-scale transformation.

You will mentor engineers, promote best practices, and ensure robust performance, accessibility, and security across the stack while collaborating with product, design, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering frontend solutions across multiple teams.
• Expertise in a modern frontend stack (React/Vue/Svelte/Angular) with TypeScript.
• Experience with design systems and UX collaboration.
• Strong testing (unit/integration/E2E) and build tooling knowledge.
• Experience deploying scalable cloud-native apps (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Ability to lead, mentor, and drive engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end frontend deliverables across the Research Platform from discovery to production.
• Architect frontend solutions with a platform-first approach for external clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with product managers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Advance SDLC practices, delivery mechanisms, and scalable UI frameworks.
• Mentor engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence and learning.
• Ensure quality through strong testing, accessibility, and compliance practices.
