Job summary

Financial Divisions in Colchester, Essex, is seeking an experienced Technical Paraplanner to deliver high-level technical paraplanning support within an IFA environment. You will research complex client scenarios, develop suitable solutions and prepare high-quality reports and recommendations.

Ideal candidates hold a Level 4 Financial Planning qualification; Chartered status would be advantageous. Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, trusts, FE Analytics and ONM is essential, along with

Qualifications

• Level 4 qualification in Financial Planning.
• Experience towards Chartered status is advantageous.
• Strong technical paraplanning and whole-of-market research.
• Knowledge of pensions, investments and trusts.
• Experience with FE Analytics and ONM.
• Solid cash-flow modelling and tax-efficiency reviews.
• Excellent report-writing skills with attention to detail.
• Understanding of Consumer Duty and 2024 changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality technical paraplanning support for a range of cases.
• Research and analyse complex client circumstances and propose solutions.
• Prepare suitability reports and recommendations for Advisers.
• Support across pensions, investments, trusts and related areas.
• Work with multiple Advisers and advice styles; adapt as needed.
