The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing existing client arrangements, including product features, benefits and the implications of proposed changes.
  • Using financial planning and industry software to undertake comparisons and detailed technical analysis.
  • Ensuring client files and documentation meet internal compliance standards and FCA requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records and managing ongoing cases through the firm’s back-office system.
  • Working closely with Advisers and colleagues to ensure cases progress efficiently and clients receive a consistently high level of service.

  • A good understanding of the end-to-end financial advice process.
  • Experience producing suitability reports and undertaking technical research.

  • Experience with more complex planning areas would be advantageous, including trusts, IHT planning, EIS/VCT, business relief investments, offshore/onshore bonds and SIPP/SSAS arrangements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to organise and prioritise a varied workload.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and financial services-specific systems.

Candidates who are working towards, or have ambitions to achieve, Chartered status would be particularly well suited to the opportunity.

  • Additional paid leave for community or volunteering activities.
  • Free parking.

The business offers a hybrid working arrangement, with the opportunity to work from home for up to 2 days per week following successful completion of probation.
