Workerbee Post is looking for a Technical Operator / Facility Assistant to join their team ASAP. This role will be based in Manchester for a 3 x month trial with a view to becoming permanent.
Workerbee Post is a post‑production facility working with major UK broadcasters. We’re looking for a Technical Operator to keep the edit floor running - the person editors turn to when a machine misbehaves, a remote session drops, or a review copy needs to be out the door in ten minutes. This is a hands‑on role in a busy facility. No two days are the same: you might spend the morning tracking down why a remote editor’s connection keeps stuttering and the afternoon ingesting a card of rushes and prepping three edit suites for a new job. It’s a genuine entry point into post‑production technology, and we will train the right person.
We’re open to applicants early in their careers. If you don’t tick every box but you’re technically curious, quick to learn and good with people, we’d still like to hear from you.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
