Job summary

Workerbee Post seeks a Technical Operator / Facility Assistant to join the Manchester team for an initial 3‑month trial with a view to permanency. This hands-on post-production tech role keeps the edit floor running and supports editors both on-site and remotely, with training provided for the right candidate.

You will diagnose connectivity issues, configure edit suites, manage media ingest, and assist with reviewing deliverables.

Qualifications

Good working knowledge of PC and Mac hardware and software.
Familiarity with Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve.
Experience with remote connectivity software (Parsec / HP Anyware).

Responsibilities

Support remote editors and diagnose connectivity issues to keep off-site editors cutting.
Provide first-line technical support: screen resolutions, audio routing, software updates, and crash issues.
Prepare and configure edit suites and workstations for new jobs.
Review and export deliverables from projects and upload to viewing platform.
Handle media—copying, verifying, and ingesting camera media and deliverables.
