Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical advice on professional cleaning, hygiene products and applications.

• Develop and deliver technical training for Sales teams, distributors and customers.
• Guide product performance, application suitability and competitor comparisons with RD&E and Quality teams.
• Collaborate with Marketing and technical teams to translate science into commercial benefits.
• Serve as key technical link between European Marketing, Sales, RD&E, Regulatory and Quality.
• Support communication of sustainability initiatives and product information.
• Develop knowledge resources, FAQs, and training materials.

About the Technical Marketing & Applications Manager Europe role:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Marketing & Applications Manager Europe to join our European Marketing team at SC Johnson Professional.

This is a standalone, specialist role that combines strong technical product and application expertise with commercial support across our professional hygiene and cleaning portfolio.

Working closely with European Sales, Marketing, Research, Development & Engineering (RD&E), Regulatory and Quality teams, you will act as a key technical expert, translating complex product and scientific information into practical solutions that support customers, distributors and commercial teams.

Responsibilities as our Technical Marketing & Applications Manager Europe:

• Provide expert technical advice on professional cleaning, hygiene products and applications, supporting European Sales teams, distributors and customers.
• Partner with commercial teams to support customer visits, tenders, product demonstrations and new business opportunities, translating technical expertise into practical customer solutions.
• Develop and deliver engaging product and application training for Sales teams, distributors and customers, strengthening technical knowledge and commercial confidence.
• Provide guidance on product performance, application suitability and competitor comparisons, working with RD&E, Quality and Regulatory teams to resolve complex technical enquiries.
• Collaborate with Marketing and technical teams to translate complex scientific and product information into clear commercial benefits, accurate product claims and effective customer-facing communications.
• Act as a key technical link between European Marketing, Sales, RD&E, Regulatory, Quality and other internal stakeholders, ensuring consistent technical guidance and effective information sharing.
• Support the communication of approved sustainability initiatives, product information and claims, helping commercial teams respond confidently to customer sustainability requirements.
• Develop and improve technical knowledge resources, FAQs, training materials and support processes, leveraging digital tools and appropriate automation to improve accessibility, consistency and efficiency.

Experience you ll bring as our Technical Marketing & Applications Manager Europe:

• A relevant scientific or technical qualification, or equivalent practical experience, ideally in Chemistry, Applied Sciences or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting B2B customers and partnering with commercial teams across multiple markets, ideally within a European or international environment.
• Ability to translate complex technical knowledge into clear, compelling commercial benefits, helping Sales teams differentiate products and solutions in competitive markets.

Please Note:

• This role is based in the UK, and applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
• We do not provide domestic or international relocation for this role.
• You will be required to work from the office 5 days a week during the 90 days. After this, the arrangement will transition to 4 days in the office and one day working from home each week.
