Job summary

SC Johnson Professional is seeking an experienced Technical Marketing & Applications Manager - Europe to lead technical marketing and application support across Europe. The role sits within the European Marketing team, partnering with Sales, Distributors and customers to translate scientific knowledge into commercial value.

You will develop training, support product demonstrations and advise on performance and claims, while working with RD&E, Regulatory, Quality and Marketing to ensure

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical marketing and applications support for European Sales teams, distributors and customers.
• Translate technical information into practical customer solutions and business opportunities.
• Develop and deliver product training for Sales teams, distributors and customers.
• Collaborate with Marketing, RD&E, Quality and Regulatory teams to resolve technical enquiries.
• Support sustainability communications and product claims with commercial teams.
• Create technical knowledge resources and training materials for accessible information sharing.

About the Technical Marketing & Applications Manager - Europe role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Marketing & Applications Manager - Europe to join our European Marketing team at SC Johnson Professional.

Responsibilities as our Technical Marketing & Applications Manager - Europe

• Provide expert technical advice on professional cleaning, hygiene products and applications, supporting European Sales teams, distributors and customers.
• Partner with commercial teams to support customer visits, tenders, product demonstrations and new business opportunities, translating technical expertise into practical customer solutions.
• Develop and deliver engaging product and application training for Sales teams, distributors and customers, strengthening technical knowledge and commercial confidence.
• Provide guidance on product performance, application suitability and competitor comparisons, working with RD&E, Quality and Regulatory teams to resolve complex technical enquiries.
• Collaborate with Marketing and technical teams to translate complex scientific and product information into clear commercial benefits, accurate product claims and effective customer-facing communications.
• Act as a key technical link between European Marketing, Sales, RD&E, Regulatory, Quality and other internal stakeholders, ensuring consistent technical guidance and effective information sharing.
• Support the communication of approved sustainability initiatives, product information and claims, helping commercial teams respond confidently to customer sustainability requirements.
• Develop and improve technical knowledge resources, FAQs, training materials and support processes, leveraging digital tools and appropriate automation to improve accessibility, consistency and efficiency.

Experience you'll bring as our Technical Marketing & Applications Manager - Europe

• A relevant scientific or technical qualification, or equivalent practical experience, ideally in Chemistry, Applied Sciences or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting B2B customers and partnering with commercial teams across multiple markets, ideally within a European or international environment.
• Ability to translate complex technical knowledge into clear, compelling commercial benefits, helping Sales teams differentiate products and solutions in competitive markets.
